A Visionary Approach to EV Charging
The Plug was founded by Joshua Thiel, an industry leader with a proven track record in energy solutions. Joshua also founded Power Chord Utility, a company dedicated to providing comprehensive energy solutions that meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency. Inspired by the success of Power Chord Utility, Joshua established The Plug to address California’s growing need for EV charging infrastructure. Recognizing the pivotal role of electric vehicles in reducing carbon emissions and fostering a cleaner environment, he set out to create a company that offers seamless, end-to-end EV charging solutions for commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties across California.
